In the fourth quarter of 2021, the leading travel and local apps on the Android platform in Austria displayed varying trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.3K in late September and dropping to approximately 1K by the end of November. However, the app experienced a resurgence in December, peaking at about 1.9K downloads in the last week of the year. Weekly active users fluctuated, initially increasing from 97.8K to a high of 104.6K in mid-October, before dropping to 72.9K by the end of November. A recovery was observed in December, with active users reaching 92.1K in the final week.

Google Earth experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 964 and 1.8K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations from a low of 19K in late November to a peak of 24.1K in late October, ending the quarter at approximately 23.4K active users.

Gem2Go had a varied performance in weekly downloads, starting at 1.7K in late September, dipping to around 1.1K in mid-October, and then peaking at 1.9K in the final week of December. There was no data available for active users.

HANDYPARKEN maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $250 in the first week of October and experiencing a gradual decline to $94 by the end of December.
